Banega: Next season will be the last with Al-Shabab

The Argentine youth professional, Ever Banega, revealed his future with the team after the end of the season, when the team occupied fourth place in the Roshen League table, and missed the opportunity to qualify for the AFC Champions League for the next season.

Banega said in statements after the team’s match in the last round of the Roshen League, that next season will be his last with Al-Shabab.

He added, “I am going through happy times in Riyadh, and we are satisfied with what we have presented during this season from the beginning, and we are competing for the league, in addition to fighting the big clubs.”

He explained that the loss against Al-Ittihad was a reason for reducing the team’s chances of winning the league, pointing out that after this match, the team’s results and level declined.
