Al Khalih President announces via “Sport 24” the continuation of coach Pedro Emmanuel

Alaa Al-Hamel, president of the Gulf Club, revealed that Portuguese coach Pedro Emmanuel, in principle, will continue to lead the team next season.

And the Gulf guaranteed to stay in the Roshan League after defeating its guest, Abha, with three goals to one, in the match that brought them together on Wednesday evening at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

Al-Hammel said in exclusive statements to “Sport 24”: “As a rising season, the challenges we faced were great, and in return there was great work, and we certainly had the support of the masses,” adding: “I say that its sweetness lies in its difficulty.”

The Gulf president praised the team’s players and their good performance despite the pressure, stressing that there will be more support for the team next season.

Al-Hamel sent a message to the Gulf fans, saying: “After God Almighty, they are the reason for the Gulf’s success in remaining in the Roshan league this season, and certainly my testimony is wounded in them.”
