Press reports revealed that Real Madrid star, Frenchman Karim Benzema, is close to joining the ranks of Al-Ittihad club in the summer transfers.

According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”; Benzema agreed with Al-Ittihad to join the team for two seasons, with a salary exceeding 100 million euros annually.

The newspaper stated that Benzema contacted Al-Nasr player, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, in order to know the nature of life in the Kingdom, and to play in the Saudi League.

The newspaper revealed that the Real Madrid captain will gather him for a session with his agent, and it is possible to confirm his decision to leave the Royal Club, and put an end to his career that extended to 14 seasons, during which he played 647 matches, scoring 353 goals and 165 assists.
