The Olympic and Paralympic Committee announces the results of the operational evaluation of the federations support strategy

The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee announced the results of the second operational evaluation for the year 2023 AD related to the strategy to support and develop sports federations for the period of time from March 2022 AD to March of the current year after its launch in November 2021 AD with a budget estimated at two billion and 600 million Saudi riyals as one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program aimed at bringing about a developmental shift in the federations Saudi sports.

The evaluation results recorded a noticeable increase in the rate of operational development, which jumped to 39% in the 54 federations included in the strategy.

The evaluation included measuring the federation’s strategy and objectives, organization and governance in terms of structure, board of directors, training and development, administrative staff, activating activities in the regions, and the executive aspect including promotion, communication, financial management, information technology, sponsorship and partnerships.
