After the coronation of Broshen.. Al-Ittihad surpasses Al-Ahly and equals the achievement of Al-Nasr

On Saturday evening, Al-Ittihad officially won the Roshen Professional League title for the first time in 14 years, to also win the cup for the first edition of the league under its current name.

Al-Ittihad’s decision to win the league came after its great victory over Al-Fayhaa, 3-0, in the match that took place between them for the 29th round, which was what the team needed to be officially crowned, without considering the result of its pursuit of victory, which stumbled in front of Al-Ettifaq for the same round, so that the difference between them widened to 5 points.

Al-Ittihad succeeded in surpassing 3 clubs in the number of times winning the Professional League, to reach the second title after the 2008-2009 edition.

And Al-Ittihad ranked third in the number of times winning the Professional League with two titles, ahead of Al-Shabab, Al-Fateh and Al-Ahly clubs, which achieved a single league at the professional level.

Al-Hilal occupies the top of the standings of the teams crowned with the Professional League title, with (7) titles, followed by Al-Nasr with (3) titles.

With this title, Al-Ittihad reached the same number of times of victory in winning the league with all titles, since the classification league with 9 titles for each.

Earlier, Al-Ittihad achieved the league with the Golden Square system 3 times in a row, in the years 1999-2000-2001, then won the title in 2003 and 2007, before the Professional League.
