Gustavo: We hoped to win the league, and the end of the season was unexpected

Al-Nasr professional, Brazilian Luis Gustavo, the Al-Nasr player, commented on losing the Saudi Professional League title this season, after a tie against Al-Ettifaq, in conjunction with Al-Ittihad’s victory against Al-Fayhaa by three without a response, in the 29th (penultimate) round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.

Gustavo said in statements after the Al-Ettifaq match that the end of the season was not expected for his team.

He added, “We expected to achieve the league, but unfortunately we lost it, and now we need to think about the future and improve many things.”

He explained that the team must prepare in all respects for the next season, stressing that the time will come and victory will reap the fruits of its work in the next season.
