Konan: Our loss against Al-Ittihad made us lose the competition for the league

Al-Nasr player, Jislan Konan, revealed the reason why his team lost the Roshen Saudi Professional League title to its rival, Al-Ittihad.

Konnan said in statements after the tie against Al-Ettifaq, that it was possible for us to reap at least second place, but after losing to Al-Ittihad, the team lost the opportunity to compete for the title.

He pointed out that after losing to Al-Ittihad, there was laxity and lack of enthusiasm and motivation compared to before.

He congratulated Al-Ittihad on winning the league title, and apologized to all Al-Nasr fans for losing the title.

And he concluded his remarks: “We promise the fans of Al-Nasr to provide better levels in the next season. This season ended with good and bad.”
