The last of them, Hamdallah.. 4 Moroccan players won the league with the Union shirt
Al-Ittihad player, Moroccan Abdel-Razzaq Hamdallah, won the league title with his team, thus becoming the 4th Moroccan player to reach this achievement.
Al-Ittihad won the Saudi Roshan League title, one round before the end, after defeating Al-Fayhaa 3-0.
Hamdallah joined the list of 4 Moroccan players who achieved the league title with Al-Ittihad, after Hamdallah with his compatriots Hisham Abu Sherwan, Ahmed Bahja and Abdel Jalil Hadda “Camacho”.
Hisham Abu Sherwan led Al-Ittihad to win the first edition of the Professional League in the 2008-2009 season, when he scored 12 goals, to occupy the top of the scorers’ ranking, along with Nasser Al-Shamrani, and crowned the league title with Al-Ittihad in that season.
Before Abu Sherwan, the Moroccan duo Ahmed Bahja and Camacho won the Saudi League title with Al-Ittihad twice, in 1997 and 1999. Ahmed Bahja was also crowned the top scorer during the 1996-1997 season, after scoring 21 goals with Al-Ittihad.
Hamdallah tops the league’s top scorer rankings this season, after scoring 20 goals so far, with one round remaining until the end of the current season.
