Al-Ittihad is crowned champion of the Saudi Roshan League after an absence of 14 years

The Al-Ittihad team succeeded in crowning the Saudi Roshan League title after an absence of 14 years, after it defeated its counterpart Al-Fayhaa by three goals without a response in the match that brought them together at Al-Majmaa Sports City Stadium, for the 29th round of the tournament.

The Al-Ittihad hat-trick was scored by Ahmed Sharahili and Mararinho, “two goals” in the 3rd, 45 + 1 and 85 minutes of the match.

With this result, Al-Ittihad raised its score to 69 points, to secure the top of the standings, and to crown the league after 14 years of absence, as it was the last league it crowned in the 2008/2009 season.

first half:

Al-Ittihad started the match with a strong attack, hoping to score an early goal that would calm the nerves and make the team play comfortably for the rest of the match.

Al-Fayha tried to show a reaction at the start of the second half in order to reduce the difference, hoping to return to the result.

In the 48th minute, Nwakaimi sent a cross and Bandar Al-Mutairi met it with a header, but it reached goalkeeper Grohe.

In the 56th minute, Ahmed Hegazy fell injured, but he refused to go out and decided to continue playing, blaming himself.

In the 57th minute, Hamdallah almost scored the third goal for Al-Ittihad after he started from the middle of the field and almost singled out the Al-Fayhaa goalkeeper, but the defense managed to catch up with him and cut the ball.

And in the 65th minute, Hamdallah fell inside the Al-Fayhaa penalty area, demanding a penalty kick, after an intervention from Hussein Al-Shuwaish, but the referee indicated that the game should continue.

In the 77th minute, Hamdallah tried to try long-range shooting, but his ball went over the crossbar.

In the 85th minute, Romarinho succeeded in scoring the third goal after a wonderful technical sentence between him and Hamdallah, which the Brazilian professional acquired and shot to the right of the Al-Fayhaa goalkeeper.
