Bamasoud: We deserved the league last season.. and this season’s title brought us to the world

Al-Ittihad player Ahmed Bamasoud confirmed that winning the Roshen Professional League title is the culmination of the team’s efforts since last season, in which it deserved to be crowned with the title.

In statements after the end of his team’s match against Al-Fayhaa, Bamasoud indicated that the team deserved the league championship from last season, adding: “Every delay has its best… This season was the most important because we took it to the world,” referring to qualifying for the 2023 Club World Cup.

Regarding the defensive solidity with which the team appeared throughout the season, Bamasoud said that the team has many distinguished stars on the defensive side, led by distinguished goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe, which contributed to achieving the title.
