Zero season for “Ronaldo”
Zero season for “Ronaldo”
Al-Nasr player, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, went out with a zero season, for the fourth time in his history, after his team lost the league title today in favor of Al-Ittihad.
Ronaldo went out without tournaments for the first time in the 2004-2005 season when he was a player in Manchester United after losing the Charity Shield title to Arsenal 3-1.
He was also bid farewell to the Champions League by AC Milan, and United finished the league in third place at the time, and lost the Federation Cup.
In the 2009-2010 season, Ronaldo moved to Spanish Real Madrid, but he also lost a zero season in his first season in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
In the 2021-2022 season, Ronaldo returned to the ranks of United again, but he was unsuccessful after he went out without tournaments in a season for the third time in his career.
Tough season for Ronaldo
And Al-Nasr came out with a zero season as well, after he was present during his team’s loss of three available local titles since he joined last January.
Before the last round of the League, Ronaldo managed to score 14 goals in 15 matches, at a rate of about one goal per match.
Ronaldo, 38, lost his first chance at coronation when he lost 3-1 to Al-Ittihad in the semi-finals of the Super Cup, in a match in which the historic top scorer for the national teams did not leave a clear mark in January.
Absence in the decisive matches
Al-Nasr suffered a heavy blow on the ninth of March in the race for the league title, as it lost the summit after losing 1-0 to Al-Ittihad, when Brazilian Romarinho, who scored the goal, snatched the lights from the Portuguese star.
After a draw with Al-Fayhaa without goals in the league, Al-Nasr separated from coach Rudi Garcia amid reports of disagreements with the players, and after the team’s hopes of winning the league title for the first time since 2019 declined.
In the next round, Al-Nasr lost the summit match 2-0 against Al-Hilal, in another important confrontation in which Ronaldo did not leave a mark, paving the way for Al-Ittihad to win the title for the first time since 2009.
Al-Nassr suffered a new blow last month by surprisingly losing 1-0 to Al-Wahda in the semi-finals of the King’s Cup, so that Ronaldo’s hopes for coronation were limited to Al-Ittihad’s stumbling in the league, which did not happen.
