Haaland comments on winning the Premier League Player of the Year and Young Talent awards

The Norwegian professional in the ranks of Manchester City, Erling Haaland, believes that it is an honor for him to win the awards for the best player of the season in the English Premier League and the best young player.

Haaland said, in statements reported by his club’s official website: “It is an honor for me to be the first player to win both awards in the same season … Thank you to everyone who voted for me.”

And the Norwegian player continued: “It was a great season for me in the English Premier League on my debut, and I lifted the trophy last weekend in front of our fans at Al-Ittihad. It was a very special moment for me.”

And the 22-year-old concluded his remarks by saying: “These awards would not have been possible without my amazing teammates, the coach and all the staff at the club who helped me perform on the field. Now we have two finals and we want to finish the season strong.”
