President of Al-Hazm: There are club presidents who work in “brokerage”

The head of Al-Hazm Club, Salman Fahd Al-Malik, believes that there are some club heads around the world working in brokerage and obtaining some money from concluding deals for their clubs.

Fahd Al-Malik said in statements to the “Gulf Rotana” channel: “In the whole world there is brokerage, and in Saudi Arabia, God knows best, and there are some mistakes and bad behavior issued by some club presidents.”

He added, “Everything is possible and corruption is everywhere in the world, and what I know is that in the past there were controversial matters, and I hear strange stories about some clubs, but things are better now.”

And he continued, “There are club presidents who work as players’ agents and get commissions, and this exists all over the world.”

And he continued, “You will not find the same willingness to take such steps now, due to the strict decisions and procedures by the Ministry of Sports.”

And he concluded his remarks: “My mere contract with any player raises suspicion, so I put myself in a mistake, and if the members agreed, they would bear the consequences of this mistake with me.”
