Saud Medical: 7 causes of hyperlipidemia disorder

King Saud Medical City reviewed the most prominent causes of hyperlipidemia, indicating that it is one of the fat disorders that appear in the bloodstream.

The city explained that the most prominent causes are hypothyroidism, nephrotic syndrome, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and anorexia nervosa.

She added that the causes of the disorder also include having a genetic background, and taking medications such as diuretics and steroids, noting that it occurs when cholesterol levels, low-density lipoproteins, and triglycerides rise above their normal levels.
