Striker Lautaro Martinez scored twice as Inter Milan came from behind to win 2-1 over Fiorentina to win their second consecutive Italian Cup title at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday.
Fiorentina took the lead after three minutes when Jonathan Ikon’s cross was turned in by an unmarked Nico Gonzalez.
Argentine Martinez equalized with a shot from a narrow angle in the 29th minute, and followed it up with a direct shot from close range eight minutes later.
Fiorentina did not threaten the Inter goal in an attempt to equalize, and Inter comfortably maintained its lead to clinch its ninth Italian Cup title before entering the Champions League final next month against Manchester City.
