Fatih Kara Customs, the Turk, dispenses with the services of Pirlo

Fatih Qara Customs club, a competitor in the Turkish Football League, announced today, Wednesday, that it has ended its association with Italian Andrea Pirlo as coach of the team.

The 44-year-old former Juventus coach signed a one-year contract with the Istanbul-based team when he signed with the team last summer, and will leave the position with three games left to play.

“Since we cannot continue with Mr. Andrea Pirlo and his staff next season, we have given them permission to leave at the earliest in the hope that this will give them an opportunity to plan their future,” the club said in a statement.

Kara Customs, who rose to the Turkish Lights League in 2020, ranks ninth in the league standings.
