Nuno Santo: I’m not a magician.. and tactical discipline is required

Al-Ittihad coach, Portuguese Nuno Santo, said that his team started the match well, scored an early goal and the most important thing was “tactical discipline”.

The Al-Ittihad team achieved an important victory against its Al-Batin counterpart, with a clean goal, during the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, in the 28th round of the Roshen League.

“It was not our best offensive game, but defensively we were good,” Al-Ittihad coach explained in the press conference.

He added, “I am not a magician to change the outcome of the match, and these are the solutions that I have, and the players did not succeed in investing opportunities.”

He continued, “There was emotional stability and distinguished tactical discipline for the players, and the team was able to come up with more than one goal,” adding: “I make changes as a coach when I find that the team needs that.”

He concluded his speech: “We promise our fans to prepare to face Al-Fayhaa with the same commitment and rigor with which the team prepared for the past matches, and we will dedicate everything we have to achieving victory, and this will be our motto until the last match in which I lead the team.”
