Al-Ahly won the “Yellow” League for the first time in its history
Al-Ahly officially won the Yellow League title for first-class clubs, after defeating its guest, Al-Qadisiyah, with a clean goal, in the match that took place between them, on Tuesday, for the thirty-third round.
Al-Ahly benefited from losing its pursuit of Al-Okhdood against Al-Sahel, 3-2, for the account of the same round, so that “Al-Raqi” settled matters before a round from the end, with a difference of 6 points from Al-Okhdood.
The only goal of the match was scored by Riyad Boudebouz in the 54th minute from a penalty kick.
With that result, Al-Ahly raised its score to 71 points in the lead, 6 points ahead of Al-Okhdood, whose score stopped at 65 points, retreating to third place behind Al-Hazm, who beat Al-Arabi with a clean goal for the account of the same round, raising its score to 67 points.
