Ten points deduction from Juventus due to player deals
The Italian Football Association announced today, Monday, that it has deducted ten points from Juventus’ balance in the current season, in a new decision by an Italian court investigating player transfer deals.
Before the announcement of this decision, which comes three matches before the end of this season, including a match scheduled for Monday, Juventus was ranked second in the Italian League, with 69 points, behind Napoli, the champion of this season.
In January, the Court of Appeal of the local federation imposed a penalty of deduction of 15 points from the balance of the Juventus team, for having, according to sports justice, regularly recorded exaggerated capital gains in its accounts when selling some players.
While the Sports Guarantee Board of the Italian Olympic Committee, to which Juventus resorted, temporarily returned these points to the Bianconeri in April by requesting a review of the sanctions imposed on him.
