Green Athletics continues its participation in the Arab Championship in Tunisia
The activities of the second day of the Arab Athletics Championship for under 23 years continue at the Rades Athletics Stadium in the Tunisian capital, with the participation of more than 300 athletes from 18 countries, including the Kingdom.
The Saudi national team delegation, with 14 players and one player, will participate in the various competitions of the tournament, which will conclude next Wednesday.
In the first day of the tournament, the Saudi national team won two medals, a silver one in the name of the player Ali Al Mubarak, in pushing the iron ball, and the other a bronze, registered in the name of the player Ahmed Al Tarouti, in the high jump competition.
And the President of the Arab Athletics Federation, Dr. Habbab Al-Rubaian, stated that the International Athletics Federation has agreed to include the Arab Athletics Championship in its international calendar for the year 2023 AD, so that it becomes among the competitions whose results are calculated within the global ranking of athletes; This represents an opportunity for the athletes participating in the Arab Championship to improve their global ranking and qualify for the World Championships, which will be hosted by the Hungarian capital, Budapest, next August.
