The Minister of Sports on the “Saudi Space Flight”: Historical moments that we are proud of

The Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, expressed his pride and happiness in the Saudi space flight.

Tonight, the eyes of the Saudis, and the entire world, were directed towards the US state of Florida, where the Kennedy Space Center is located, and it is the site from which the spacecraft will launch, and the port for the “AX-2 mission” mission; aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.

The Minister of Sports said, through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “With inspiring leadership and an ambitious vision … we fly high and create the future … historical moments that we are proud of and our heroic pioneers … our hearts are with you and our prayers are with you … Saudi Arabia towards space.”

Al-Faisal’s comment came after he retweeted the Saudi Space Authority’s tweet, saying: “Our prayers and hearts are with you, heroes.. The two Saudi astronauts arrive at the Falcon 9 launch station in preparation for launch to the International Space Station.”

And the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia embraced the borders of outer space, in a historic mission to the International Space Station, starring two Saudi astronauts, “Rayana Bernawi and Ali Al-Qarni”, among four other astronauts.
