“Within continental participation.” Brighton achieves a costly victory over Southampton

Brighton won 3-1 during their match against Southampton this evening, Sunday, in the English Premier League.

The Brighton team advanced with a goal after 29 minutes, scored by its player Evan Ferguson, before the same player added the second goal in the 40th minute, ending the first half with a clean double for Brighton.

Southampton reduced the score with a goal scored by its player Mohamed El-Younes in the 58th minute, before Brighton added the third goal through its player Pascal Gross in the 69th minute.

With this victory, the Brighton team raised its score to 61 points in sixth place in the English Premier League table, while Southampton’s balance stopped at point 24 in last place.

With this victory, Brighton secured participation for the first time in its history in the European League or Conference League competitions.
