The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Association announced that Al-Hilal Club would be obligated to pay a fine of 100,000 riyals for its fans throwing (11) eleven cans of water towards the stadium and injuring one of the team’s match officials in front of the federation.
In a related context, the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee issued a decision to suspend the assistant coach of Al-Ittihad Club, Ian Cathrow, for two matches, for committing unsportsmanlike behavior towards the match official, and obliging him to pay a fine of 20,000 riyals.
And the Disciplinary Committee obligated Al-Ittihad Club to pay a fine of 30,000 riyals for its fans throwing (5) water cans and one tool towards the field, and no one was injured during the confrontation.
The Al-Ittihad team fell into a tie trap against its counterpart Al-Hilal after conceding a fatal goal during the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening in the Roshen League competitions.
