Yesterday, the Kingdom Championship for “A” clubs for taekwondo was concluded on the Champions Cup for buds and juniors, with the participation of 249 players representing 28 clubs from various clubs in the regions of the Kingdom, and it was run by more than 27 referees, at the King Khalid Sports City Hall in Tabuk.
Al-Hilal Club achieved first place in the Baraem category with (427) points, second place Sudair Club (280) points, Al-Shabab Club in third place with (278) points, and fourth place Al-Faisaly Club (239) points.
In the youth category, Al Hilal Club came in first place with (531) points, in second place was the Branch Club (428) points, in third place was Riyadh Club (245) points, and Al Shabab Club came in fourth place with (215) points.
The director of the branch of the Ministry of Sports in the region, Ibrahim Al-Atwi, explained that the tournament organized by the Saudi Taekwondo Federation, and supervised by the branch of the Ministry of Sports in the region, had over two days the presence of a large number of the public, parents and organizers, which contributed to the success of the tournament, appreciating the initiative of the Saudi Taekwondo Federation to provide The opportunity to organize the tournament in Tabuk region, indicating that the Ministry’s branch in the region harnessed all its capabilities to host tournaments and provide an opportunity for everyone to practice various sports activities.
