The Food and Drug Administration: 5 benefits of clinical studies..and we monitor the safety of the participants
The Food and Drug Authority reviewed the mechanism of clinical studies and the benefits that result from doing them, especially at the level of discovering new treatments.
The authority noted that clinical studies are based on strict scientific standards in order to protect patients, help researchers discover new drugs for diseases or prevent them, ensure the safety and effectiveness of medication, and discover ways to diagnose or reduce the chances of disease development.
She pointed out that she is supervising the creation of a database for all registered studies, to ensure the protection and safety of the participants, the quality and accuracy of the data resulting from these studies, the commitment of researchers and research agencies to all protocols, and the inspection of the places where clinical studies were conducted.
