“K” decides to fine the Egyptian Al-Ahly and the Sudanese Crescent
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided to fine Al-Ahly of Egypt and Al-Hilal of Sudan financially, because of the events that took place in their match, in the sixth and final round of Group Two competitions of the African Champions League.
Kaf imposed a financial penalty on Al-Ahly of Egypt, amounting to 120 thousand dollars, and the Sudanese Crescent, 50 thousand dollars.
Al-Ahly of Egypt succeeded in qualifying for the quarter-finals, accompanied by Sundowns, for the group, while Al-Hilal of Sudan left the group stage.
Al-Ahly of Egypt will face Tunisia’s Esperance, in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals, this Friday evening.
