Al-Wehda team achieved a valuable victory over its youth counterpart, this evening, Thursday, in the 27th round of the Roshen League.

The first half began with Al Wahda players controlling the ball in an attempt to score an early goal.

Al-Wehda team advanced after 13 minutes of the match, with a goal scored by its player, Abdul Karim Yoda, taking advantage of Al-Shabab’s defense error.

The match was stopped in the 43rd minute, after the player Abdullah Al-Hafez fell injured after a joint ball with the player Riyad Sharahili, before the match resumed.

With the start of the second half, the youth coach Moreno decided to make a substitution by entering the player Aaron Popendza instead of Riyad Sharahili.

In the 52nd minute, Aaron Popendza scored the equalizing goal for Al-Shabab against Al-Wahda, but the referee decided to cancel the goal after returning to clear the video.

Al-Wahda Al-Muhammadi’s goalkeeper denied the youth team a draw, after a missile shot by Bubenza brilliantly pushed it away from his own goal.

The most famous referee of the match was the yellow card in the face of youth player Iago Santos in the 73rd minute.

The player, Hussein Al-Sabiani, entered the Al-Shabab squad as a substitute, replacing Miteb Al-Harbi, in the 83rd minute.

With that result, Al-Wehda raised its score to 29 points in the thirteenth place, while Al-Shabab’s balance stuck at 53 points in the third place.

The youth team started the match with a formation consisting of: Kim Seong-gyu, Fawaz Al-Saqour, Krechowiak, Iago Santos, Miteb Al-Harbi, Riyad Sharahili, Hussein Al-Qahtani, Ever Banega, Christian Guanca, Carlos Jr., Ahmed Abdo.

Defense line: Hamad Al-Jizani, Abdullah Al-Hafez, Oscar Duarte, Islam Hawsawi.
