After 12 years in its ranks, Manchester United announces the departure of its defender

Manchester United officially announced today, Friday, the departure of its defender Phil Jones, at the end of his contract this season.

Jones will leave after 12 years in the ranks of his team, as Phil Jones joined United from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2011.

Phil Jones, with Manchester United, won the Premier League, European League, FA Cup, League Cup, and two Charity Shield Cups.
