Newcastle coach: There is nothing settled in the English Premier League
Newcastle coach Eddie Howe stressed that his team is moving at a good pace, but did not guarantee qualification to the Champions League next season.
Howe said after the victory over Brighton: “I think today the details were great, we always got the ball back quickly and did not allow them to create an attacking danger.”
He added, “It would be incredible to qualify for the Champions League, but this is the Premier League and nothing is settled. We want to be at the best level against Leicester City.”
Newcastle United scored a wide victory over its guest, Brighton, by four goals to one, in the postponed match of the 25th round of the English Premier League.
He raised Newcastle United’s balance to 69 points from 36 games in third place, getting closer to qualifying for the Champions League.
