Newcastle United is close to the Champions League by four in Brighton

Newcastle United beat Brighton by four goals to one in the postponed match of the 25th round of the English Premier League.

Newcastle fullback Kieran Trippier sent a corner kick, which Brighton striker Deniz Ondav accidentally converted into his own net in the 22nd minute.

In the 45 + 4 minute, Newcastle scored the second goal by making Trippier a free kick, which Dan Burn finished with a header into the net.

Brighton’s only goal came in the 51st minute, when Deniz Ondav scored alone after Brian Gilmour’s pass.

Newcastle’s third goal came with the signing of Callum Wilson alone, after Miguel Almiron’s pass in the 90th minute.

Bruno GuimarĂ£es added the fourth goal after a pass from Callum Wilson in front of the goal in the 91st minute.

He raised Newcastle United’s balance to 69 points from 36 games in third place, getting closer to qualifying for the Champions League.
