The FA announces its punishment against Klopp
The English Football Association has announced that it has suspended Jurgen Klopp, the coach of Liverpool, for two matches, in addition to fining him 75,000 pounds.
And the FA explained, through an official statement issued today, Thursday, by noting that the penalty comes due to Klopp’s comments that questioned the integrity of referee Paul Tierney, after his match against Tottenham in the English Premier League.
It is scheduled that Klopp will be suspended from being on the bench for one match immediately, with the other match postponed until the end of the 2023-2024 season if he repeats the same violation.
