The President of the Saudi Automobile Federation, Khalid bin Sultan Al-Faisal, confirmed that the Kingdom has gained a lot of experience in organizing major events, including rallies and other motor racing activities.
Al-Faisal said in statements to “Sport 24”: “Now we have experience in organizing rallies and other activities. We have seen the development of organizing rallies in the Kingdom, whether local or the Dakar Rally, and it gave a great reputation to the Kingdom.”
He added, “Currently, we see these successes, and we see the number of participations that come from the Gulf to participate in the Kingdom’s local car racing championships.”
He continued, “These successes give us an incentive to provide the best. The Kingdom hosts two rounds of the World Championship Rally, and we can organize more than this, but it may be in other international championships.”
And he concluded his remarks: “The region that hosts the rallies is characterized by a picturesque nature, for which we found praise from all participants.”
