The CEO of the Federation of Automobiles and Motorcycles, Sultan Al-Hazami, said that for the first time the rally will start in the city of Tabuk, today, Thursday, as the second round of the Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship is the 2023 season.
Al-Hazami explained, in exclusive statements to “Sport 24”: “The rally will be 345 km long in 3 stages, the first stage is a show of 4 km, the second stage is 205 km, and the third stage will be 136 km,” indicating that the closing ceremony will be in the city of Ibn Khaled Sports.
35 cars, 20 motorcycles and three four-wheeled motorcycles “Quads” will participate in this round, noting that the final number of participants will be officially determined after the completion of the technical and administrative examination procedures.
The activities of the rally begin with a launch ceremony that will be held in King Khalid Sports City at 1:30 pm, followed by a 3.52 km long show stage at 4 pm to determine the order of the starters in the first special stage. The rally includes two special stages subject to timing, the length of the first day stage (Friday) 205 kilometers and the second day (Saturday) approximately 136 kilometers.
