Officially…the 2026 World Cup logo has been revealed
The Organizing Committee for the 2026 World Cup in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico revealed the logo of the tournament, which will be hosted by the three countries.
The unveiling of the 2026 World Cup logo came at a ceremony held at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, in the presence of FIFA President Gianni Infantino and some football legends.
The 2026 World Cup logo came in the form of an image of the World Cup model inside the number 26, which is a reference to the year the tournament was held in America, Canada and Mexico. The #WeAre26 campaign (we are 26) was also launched.
The World Cup will be held during the months of June and July 2026, and 48 teams will participate in the tournament for the first time in the history of the tournament, after Argentina won the Qatar World Cup 2022.
