Manchester City defeated Real Madrid by 4-0 in the match that took place between them on Wednesday evening at the “Al-Ittihad” stadium, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the European Champions League, to win 5-1 on aggregate.
The City quartet scored two goals for Bernardo Silva, Militao and Julian Alvarez in the 23rd, 37th, 76th and 91st minutes of the match.
Bernardo Silva scored twice in the first half, while Eder Militao scored an own goal, before Julian Alvarez scored the fourth goal in stoppage time, as City avenged its defeat in the same round last season.
City were unbeaten in 26 home games and their unbeaten run at home was not threatened once Silva scored the first goal in the 23rd minute, slotting past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois before heading home in the 37th minute.
With this result, Manchester City hit matches with Inter Milan in the final of the European Champions League.
