Newcastle United coach Eddie Howe believes that guaranteeing his team participation in the next edition of the Champions League is the ideal option.
“Of course, winning the next two matches at home and ensuring we play in the Champions League would be the ideal option for us,” Howe told a news conference.
And he added, “But as I said before, we are not looking far. We are just trying to move forward and play match after match, and get the three points against a difficult opponent.”
Newcastle ranks third in the English Premier League table with 66 points.
