Evan Toney banned for 8 months for violating betting rules

The Football Association announced that Brentford striker Ivan Toney was suspended for eight months and fined 50,000 pounds for violating betting rules.

The FA said the penalties were imposed after Tony committed 232 breaches of betting rules and the ban will be effective immediately.

Tony, 27, will not be able to play for club or England until his suspension expires on January 16, 2024.
